What does the pink supermoon in Scorpio mean? How crystals can help you harness the power of the moon

THE first Supermoon of the year will appear tonight, appearing 30% brighter than a full moon at apogee (basically the most distant point from earth).

Named the Pink Moon in Native American folklore, which occurs in the intense and mysterious sign of Scorpio, there’s so much magic to harness, especially in terms of our relationships and all we need to do is get our crystals out.

Tickled pink

According to Sarah Jane Brown, an expert from PsychicWorld, tonight’s Pink Supermoon is a great time for fertility, change, new growth, and adaptability, which are major themes in spring.

“To generalise across the globe, this Supermoon is a time to focus on release and new beginnings, allowing you to let go of pent-up energies that have built-up from the Worm Moon on March 28,” Sarah says.

As we approach this gorgeous orb, however, we may find that things that used to float our boat are now more likely to capsize it. In a nutshell, it’s time for us all to make a change.

“To work out clearly what you want to release over the next few weeks is vital, as it allows you to make vacuums in your life that can be refilled with positive people and elements,” advises Sarah.

Crystal clear

So, now we know why the Supermoon is so important, it’s time to charge our crystals! Yes, we did say charge our crystals.

“The Rose Quartz will be particularly powerful during this time as its peaceful and passionate energy works well with the regeneration of this upcoming Supermoon,” says Sarah.

She advises us to leave this crystal, which is pink in colour and probably on your shelf somewhere, out in the moonlight tonight in a glass of water to create a powerful Moon Water.

According to Sarah, you can drink the water the next day or even use it on your plants to give them a moon-fueled boost.

Remember this manifestation and release won’t happen overnight though. From the Supermoon until the Lunar eclipse on May 26, we should all be focusing on what we want to attract into our lives.

It’s also a good idea to write your desires down or actively speak about them. We’re sure there’s a saying somewhere about speaking things into existence.

So, by the time you’ve drunk your moon water, watered your plants and journaled you heart’s desires, you should be all set. Happy Pink Supermoon – use its power wisely!
